We are thrilled to announce that HexSMP will be receiving the 1.21.1 update this weekend, which will bring all the amazing features from Minecraft 1.21 into our server. But that’s not all! This update also includes some fantastic additions to HexSMP that will take your experience to the next level. We’re proud to introduce a brand-new RPG system that will completely change how you play on HexSMP.

The RPG Addon: Custom Classes System

The highlight of the RPG addition is the Custom Classes System. This system allows players to select from unique classes, each with its own specific skills, stats, and abilities. Players can upgrade their class by completing tasks and helping out in Grinwood Town, the heart of the new RPG world. Whether you're a warrior, mage, or rogue, there's a class suited for every type of adventurer. With these upgrades, you’ll find new goals and challenges to conquer in HexSMP!

Welcome to Grinwood Town

When players first arrive in Grinwood Town, they’ll spawn inside the grand Town Hall, the starting point of their adventure. Here, they’ll select their class and begin exploring the new world. You’ll also meet the town’s Mayor, who will welcome you with open arms and offer you your first quests.

The Blacksmith

Grinwood Town is filled with helpful NPCs, each offering unique services. One of the most important is the Blacksmith NPC, who can repair and upgrade your tools. For example, players can bring their iron swords to the weaponsmith to upgrade them into powerful diamond blades. The Blacksmith’s services come at a cost, but the custom graphics and engaging gameplay make it all worth it!

The Merchant: Limited-Time Deals

The Merchant NPC runs a bustling shop where you’ll find special limited-time deals. His shop operates on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning items like Mending Books are limited in supply. You’ll need to act fast and compete with other players to grab these coveted items before they sell out!

The Courier: Daily Quests and Deliveries

The Courier NPC is responsible for the delivery of letters and packages throughout Grinwood Town, and you’ll help him with this task. His first quest asks you to deliver three letters to town citizens within a set time. Additionally, the Courier offers daily quests where you gather specific items for him in exchange for rewards.

Sebastian Barley, The Farmer

On the northeast side of town, you’ll find Sebastian Barley, a farmer who needs your help. As he grows older, it’s up to players to assist him with his harvest and farm duties. Sebastian will reward players generously and even teach them valuable farming skills—but if you can’t keep up, you might lose the skills he shares!

Liora Fairheart, The Artist

Liora Fairheart is an artist who will lead players on one of the most exciting quests in Grinwood Town. She needs your help gathering materials for her artwork. What will the painting look like? You won’t know until it’s finished! Assisting Liora is a unique, creative experience that offers rewards and surprises at every turn.
