HexSMP Rules
At HexSMP, our rules are designed to create a fun, fair, and welcoming environment for everyone. By following these guidelines, we ensure that all players can enjoy their time on the server without encountering unfair advantages, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.

HexSMP Server Rules
1. General Conduct
1.1. Be respectful to other players. Do not disrespect, spread rumors, or start drama about others. We aim to maintain a welcoming environment on HexSMP.
1.2. Alt accounts are not allowed. (One Bedrock alt is allowed)
1.3. Do not build inappropriate structures.
1.4. No excessive swearing or swearing that is targeted at someone or intended to offend someone.
1.5. Racism, homophobia, and other forms of discrimination are not allowed.
1.6. Do not discuss politics or religion to avoid arguments.
1.7. Do not share any personal information of other players.
2. Cheating, Mods and Macros
2.1. Mods that give you an unfair advantage are not allowed.
- Allowed Mods: Game engine performance mods (Optifine, Sodium, Starlight, etc.), minimaps (caves, maps, and mines on mini-map are allowed), Litematica (no printer).
- Disallowed Mods: Cheaty clients, X-ray mods, automatic functions (auto-mining, auto-clicking), macro programs, and any other outside programs that aim to give the player an unfair advantage.
2.2. Macros not directly tied to jobs are allowed.
- Allowed Macros: Simple command macros (/ec, /teleport, /spawn, /fly, /feed), action macros (auto eating when hungry, auto storing of items in chests, etc.).
- Disallowed Macros: Macros that gain advantages in jobs or skills (automation of crafting, killing mobs, farming, mining, fishing, item salvaging, condensing, etc.).
- If you are unsure if a mod or macro is allowed, please open a support ticket.
3. Gameplay Fairness
3.1. Abusing bugs is not allowed. This includes:
- Attempting to duplicate items.
- Breaking blocks not intended to be broken.
- Bypassing job block placement timer or fishing spot limitations.
- Obtaining unobtainable items.
- Getting into areas you aren't allowed in.
3.2. Inappropriate skins or names are not allowed.
3.3. Scamming players is not allowed.
- Do not add deceptive items (e.g., fake in-game currencies, fake items) on the auction house.
- Selling goods for an abnormal amount of money (e.g., 1 dirt block for $1,000,000) is not allowed.
- Do not take advantage of price mistakes in player shops. Report obvious price mistakes to staff or the shop owner.
3.4. Selling 'advertisement items' on the auction house is prohibited.
3.5. Do not impersonate a staff member in-game or on Discord.
3.6. IRL trading (real life trading - in-game money/items for real money) is not supported by HexSMP. We cannot track or confirm payments outside of our platforms.
4. Server Performance
4.1. Building redstone machines or farms that cause server lag will be removed by staff.
4.2. After 90 days of inactivity, players can request the removal of certain builds.
4.3. Claims must be at least 100 blocks from another claim unless approved by both claim owners.
Enforcement and Clarification
- Our process for punishments involves the entire staff team to avoid singling out individuals. These may be overridden under severe circumstances; however, all punishments are reviewed.

- These rules are subject to change at any time. We recommend you check back regularly for updates.
HexSMP Discord Rules
General Conduct
- No objectionable content or actions that harm others, such as any kind of discrimination, discussions of harmful or violent behavior, or harassment.
- Inappropriate, political, and religious content is not allowed.
- Don’t play offensive/inappropriate songs, anything pornographic, or songs which use language that isn’t permitted in chat on HexSMP.
- No advertising other Minecraft or Discord servers, including unsolicited direct messages.
- No spamming.
- Sharing account or personal, identifiable information (doxxing) of yourself or another player is not allowed.
- Discussions causing or intended to cause trouble are not allowed.
- English is the only language allowed in chat.
- Your nickname must be similar to your Minecraft in-game name (you can change your nickname just for this server!).
- We can’t list every possible wrongdoing here. Your actions may still remain at the staff team’s discretion.
Enforcement and Clarification
- Report rule breakers and provide screenshots if you can. You can do so by opening a support ticket. Breakers will be punished accordingly.

- These rules are subject to change without prior notice, so please remember to check them periodically!
All rules will apply on both the HexSMP Discord server and in-game. These rules are in place so HexSMP can remain fun while giving everyone a safe space.
